Are Reader's Digest prize giveaways genuine?
Absolutely! Our prize draws are fully compliant with Lottery and Gaming regulations in Australia and New Zealand. The draw dates are stipulated in the Official Rules and customers are always welcome to attend and share in the excitement.
How do I know if it's a genuine Reader's Digest call or a scam?
Do not be fooled by dishonest imitators or shonky prize calls or text messages. Reader’s Digest NEVER asks winners for bank or credit card details to process prize payouts.
Be wary of phone calls or text messages saying you have won a prize and then asking for cash deposits or money transfers to claim the prize. Never give your credit card details to collect a prize or enter a Sweepstakes.

I received two Sweepstakes entries, but there are different return dates. Which date is correct?
Both dates are correct, and each entry must be returned by the specified date in order to be eligible for a prize. Does Reader's Digest ever postpone the draws?
Never! A prize draw always takes place on the day it has been specified. A brand new giveaway begins a few weeks before the old one closes, ensuring that nobody misses out on the chance to win. It is quite possible for people to receive entries into both the old and the new prize draws during this overlap period.
Do I have to buy anything to be eligible to enter the prize draws?
Your chances of winning are equally good whether you purchase a product or not. However, we do offer extra prizes for customers who say 'yes'. It's our way of rewarding those who purchase our products.
Am I better off if I buy a product?
While you can enter the major prize draw – and have an equal chance of winning – by saying YES or NO, saying YES to our offer can bring you an extra chance to win in a special giveaway.
